Well I have a confession to make. I am officially a fan of Twitter. I have had one for over a year now, but have not realized what it actually does until today. They always say that you learn something new every day. Now if you don't know what it is let me explain. If you have a Facebook or a Myspace, there is a space on those where you write your status... People typically write what they are doing or how they are feeling. Well Twitter is just that... it is a bunch of people that are writing "one liners" on how they are doing or what they are doing. But even that in and of itself seems a little boring to me, UNTIL today, when I realized that the majority of the people that use Twitter, use it from their mobile phone through text messaging. Once I turned on my phone in Twitter, I instantly was connected to the world with not only what I am doing, but what they are doing as well. And the cool part is that they can comment on what you wrote and you get it immediately through a text message. Anyway, I was a little slow hopping on the band wagon, but I really have enjoyed the day being able to connect with so many friends on such a different level. You should definitely check it out at Twitter.com. I even told my mom today to get one, so that will be fun. Well let me know what you think!!
Thanks for the info. I too have been wondering about Twitter and didn't know all the happenings of it. Kelly S uses it (even while in small group sometimes) to update her stat and I have been meaning to check it out for fun.
Be careful doing it while driving with your windows down though! :)
